Race
Summary:
Top team
The Tyler Tandem tries to stay in first place this week... and does. They
even added 2 more points distance between them and second place! Too bad
it's still only 4 points back. Third place remains at the same deficit of
48, but it's not dirty duck anymore: please welcome The Intimidator to the #3
position, who jumped 3 spots this week. That's a lot of 3's for someone
called The Intimidator... coincidence???
New to the
top 5 this week and the first time this season, Hot Rod Wildcat, who jumped 5
spots with a 2nd place race lineup. Rounding out the top 5 is dirty duck,
who suffered a slight set-back this week and dropped a couple spots.
In the top
10, there were a few gains and a big drop. JTC & the Boyz fell victim
to a rough lineup and some close points racing, falling 5 places to #10.
Any bets on if 10th place will get any closer than 100 points to the leader by
the end of the season?
In the
rest of the league, Brickman, McCurdy Racing, &The Crew are almost racing
three-wide in 13th-14th-15th place. Race Junky continues the climb back up
the ladder, only 7 points out of the top 15 this week. Several others are
climbing back up the charts after having some bad luck... others are falling
into unfamiliar territory at the depths of the league. No stranger to the
throne, VILME again distances himself from the rest of the pack... but in the
opposite direction! Sometimes if it weren't for bad luck, a guy wouldn't
have any luck at all.
Special
recognition this week goes out to MonkeyMan, proving that evolutionists might
have it backwards and monkeys actually evolved from humans. MonkeyMan
turned in a 20 point lineup this week, with most of the rest of us about 40
points behind that... some less, some more.
Overall,
the season standings are still close but starting to separate a little more
evenly between positions. The race lineups have not been so close the past
few weeks, though. Almost 80 points have separated 1st from last in the
lineups. That should be encouraging if you are a team trying to make up
some points in the league standings. If you're near the top, that also
means you need to stay on top of your game to hold your own!
