Race
Summary:
17 must be
the magic number... the top teams in the league the past two races have had 17
point lineups. This week honors go out to Cattleman and Rocketman for a
tie at the top for this race.
50 points
last week would have gotten you a respectable 7th place race lineup... this week
it's just a rotten 28th place, as dirty duck found out. With the duck's
luck, the gap from 1st to 2nd widens to an even greater spread of 59
points. Dirty duck and Whitetrash are both in second, looking to keep up
if possible!
Much of
the top ten kept their season position in the league points, but the margins
changed a little. The Intimidator jumps into the top 5 this week, swapping
positions with 4U2Envy. Hot Rod Wildcat climbs one spot closer to the top
10 but can't quite break it. Speedracer and Hotrod both jump up 2 spots
each, with Speedracer now in the top 15.
After
getting burned by the #8 last week, many lost faith and jumped ship... turns out
a little to soon. Jr. posts a second place finish and rubs a little salt
in the wound of the Dale Deserters. Kurt Busch knocks down the win, to no
surprise of many teams in the league as most had the Blue Two in their lineup.
It's
getting down to the part of the season where you can start looking at the top
places in the league standings according to wins, top 5's, & top 10's.
No real runaways yet, so it should be pretty competitive and likely have to ties
at the finish. I find it interesting the the #1 team in the points
standings has managed to pick only 4 race winners. How does The Tyler
Tandem do it? Well, they do it by proving that winning isn't
everything! Check out their top 5's and top 10's and you'll see what I
mean... respectable top 5's and leading top 10's. Consistency is how it
gets done, people.
Good luck
to everyone!
