Race
Summary:
Well, not
much time to write much this week. Certain teams deserve some recognition,
though! The Real Slim Shady stood up as Whitetrash claims the #1 spot on
the season for the first time! In fact, the dirty duck / race junky
domination at the top seems to be a slipping as they turn in #19 & #20 race
lineups, dropping race junky to 4th on the season and dirty duck falls out of
the top 5 for the first time in 2007. Whitetrash has been hanging around
the top ten for quite some time, and in the last couple weeks really picked some
excellent drivers. The competition is tough, but if Whitetrash can keep
the consistency going, it will be hard to catch this up-and-coming team!
There was
quite a bit of moving around in the season standing following this race.
Looking at the lineups, the ugliest rosters had Jimmie Johnson and Brian Vickers
to blame. Better luck next time!
It looks
like racinboys has checked out for the season... that's too bad, that team was
turning in some pretty nice lineups, but missed a few races - now has missed 3
in a row. With over half the season left, I wouldn't count ANYONE out at
all... just look at what happened this race!
Teams
that appear to be on the up-swing in the season standings:
Brickman -
an up-and-down season has taken it's toll, but lately this team has been
improving the past 6 races
Budman - a team once ranked 31st, Budman has fought hard and is now almost in
the top 15 - great job!
Cattleman - a great steady run by this team has them in their best standing this
year!
Hot Rod Wildcat - back in the top 15 and currently in the 3rd best position all
season
McCurdy Racing - making significant gains in the past two races... 20th to 9th
and their best ranking this season
Queen B - up and down race lineups have made it an uphill battle, but the Queen
is improving and has matched the team's highest ranking this year
Speedracer - currently one of the hottest teams in the league with consistent
improvement nearly every week
The Intimidator - this team is serious about getting to the top - gaining almost
15 spots in 6 races
The Tyler Tandem - an up-and-down, but improving season has now seen this duo
inside the top 10 for three weeks and their best season ranking on the year
Whitetrash - a nice steady season has now peaked with a #1 season ranking!

holding steady:
4U2Envy -
has only spent ONE RACE outside the top 5 this year!
Hotrod - after a decent start, this team has been out of the top 25 for 8
weeks... but slowly improving
JTC & The boys - a common name in the top 10 is finally back in the top 5
for the first time since the first race
KB GB Racing - has spent 7 races in the top 15, but only hit the top 10 once
MonkeyMan - missed a race and has been making up points slowly but surely
Off Constantly - started good, had some tough luck, and now seems to be in a
holding pattern around the 25th spot
race junky - has only been outside the top 5 once this season... the very first
week

on the downhill slide:
dirty duck
- has spent 9 races at #1, but super duck found kryptonite and is out of the top
5 for the first time this year
Cosmo - after a great first two races, this team has struggled and now has
fallen out of the top 20 for the first time this season
racinboys - this team appears to have checked out for the season after several
no-shows
Rocketman - after a launch into the top 5, Rocketman has fizzled out of the top
15 and his 2nd worst ranking
Shake N Bake Racing - a slow, dreadful decent now has this team out of the top
20
Smoke20 - had some early success and failure, but now seems to be slowing
receding down the season standings
Spanky - an up-and-down season seems to be getting worse as this team is
steadily dropping lately
Speed Junkie - has some good race lineups but can't seem to hold a top 20 spot
for very long
TBills - only twice has this team been out of the top 5: first week and this
week, dropping from 1st to 8th in only two races
Texas Bitch - once a top 5 team, the charts show a slow decent out of the the
top 10, top 15, is top 20 next??
The Crew - after 8 races in the top 10, this team dropped out of the top 20
quickly, but might be back on track
trentonk - once a top 5 team, trentonk has been on a bad slide lately but did
jump back inside the top 15 this week
VILME - had some good races, but seems to be on a steady slide backwards the
past weeks
