The Big One I wasn't able to watch the race this week, but that's probably a good thing. It looks like we had more mayhem in the final moments this week, and yet again some of the top dogs fell off the porch. We didn't have anyone break 100 points this week, so maybe it wasn't QUITE as bad. There were still a few teams in the 80's & 90's, but half of the league teams were within 20 points of each other from #1 through #23. The Big One can certainly cause a big headache for the less-fortunate lineups. Here's hoping next week spreads a little sunshine on some of us!

What seems to be the problem, Officer? For four races, DUI Racing beat the odds and seemed to be on a roll. Alas, Rent-A-Cop strikes and pulls over DUI, and the stop-and-go penalty loses them a position. Now tied in second place with JoJoRacing, DUI will be looking to retake the lead in the season standings next week! Better luck to DUI... Our past #1's haven't fared to well: Hot Rod Wildcat enjoyed a small tenure at #1 and now sits in 17th position. MK17 Racing about had a brief stint at #1 and now sits in 12th.

A new #1! With the fall of DUI Racing, we have a new face out front. Billinger Racing moved past DUI on the strength of a 3rd place race lineup. Erasing a 21 point deficit and adding 11 points separation, Billing Racing gained 32 points in one race! Excellent job, good luck at the top!

And the last shall be first 00Bullet has just shown us all that last place is certainly not out-of-contention! Even though the team has had some misfortune this season and currently sits in 43rd place on the season, this week 00Bullet turned in a race-winning lineup. And look at these numbers: Last Week 00Bullet had 94 points to reach the next position up in the season points, and this week that dropped to 62 points - a 32 point gain, and 00Bullet also gained 25 points on the league leader!

Record Pace Another team with a great lineup this week was a familiar face at #1 last year... dirty duck. A 29 point lineup earned him a tie at #1 for the race lineup this week. But here's the REST of the story... last year following Richmond, dirty duck was sitting pretty atop the league at #1 and had 442 season points with 4 wins, 12 top 5's, & 22 top 10's. This year the duck has 460 points on the season thus far, which still would have earned him first place last year at this point. However, this year the duck has more top 5's and top 10's but currently sits in 7th place, 45 points away from the #1 spot. Folks, we are on a record-setting pace for points, wins, top 5's, and top 10's this year!!!

Day of rest Sunday gives us a break again this week. Congratulations to everyone this week for getting in their lineups on time. These Saturday races will definitely sneak up and bite you! Don't get to proud of yourself yet, though... we've got another Saturday race this week!!!
